In the course of the Committee sitting it was declared that the Bill (¹5314) suggests the improvement of the allotment principle for the state television channels and radio channels "of equal information and air-time scope for all the parliamentary factions of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and deputies factions of the political parties that are represented in the local councils of Ukrainian regions and in Autonomous Republic of the Crimea."
The Bill envisages "the Committee on Rules of Parliamentary Procedure, Ethics and Support to Work of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is charged with the supervision for the assurance of equity of parliamentary parties in the coverage of their activity by the state television and radio channels. In regions and in Autonomous Republic of the Crimea this function is supposed to be exercised by the relevant local councils and the Verkhovna Rada of Autonomous Republic of the Crimea."
